Soaring spelltome mount wow6/30/2023 The three creatures in between the two came in close in both polls. The Nerubian Swarmer, the four-legged but otherwise spider-like creature from Northrend, came in dead last in both polls. Players then received this mount for free just for logging into World of Warcraft. Looking at the results on both the North America and the EU polls, the large and leafy mount was the most popular. However, when a poll went out in September of 2020, asking which among a choice of five mount concept players wanted most, the answer was clear - the Wandering Ancient. That cute skeleton inside the green, gooey shape of a cat captures the feel of death and remains cute at the same time. The dps check is way easier. When people think back to Shadowlands and what they remember most, the Jellycat will be one aspect that stands out. Rather go frost DK / Arms warrior for this. P2 took 40 tries, which is alot since I main a demon hunter, and the last 10-15 wipes were all from 10% down. I had to use a set of fully optimized gear to make it (Prydaz with hidden satyr, mechagon trinket, seed, azerite, garrosh heirlooms, unbridled fury etc.). The survivability check is insane in P1, and the dps check in P2 is one of the hardest things I have encountered in this game. Xylem (Havoc demon hunter) - The hardest out of them all. For this, druid also works, but you will struggle with the last 2 phases abit more, and holy paladin is even better. But once you learn how to manage the debuff, it's fine. It's also very unforgiving in the last phase, since shamans have an issue of criting and overhealing. Used some Legion gear / legendaries, HOA, legendary cloak etc. P1 is just brutal, and 1 slight mistake will make you lose 1 member since they are made out of tissue paper. Black Rook Hold (Restoration shaman) - Very difficult and unforgiving. Still pushed with full SL gear and SL consumables. Kruul (Used vengeance demon hunter) - Mechanically easiest due to glide negating the knockback, but a very tight dps check anyways. Raest (Frost mage) - Trivial since frost mage negates all mechanics. If you stun him during the cast, he won't cast again, and he won't have the boon up, so you gotta cleave him to meet the dps check. The main thing was to learn to cleave all 3 and not keep Sigryn stunned. Sigryn (Retribution paladin) - Quite easy, SL raid + M+ gear and trinkets, SL consumes. Tugar (WW monk) - Very easy, SL blues + epics, SL consumes, just an endurance race, nothing else. Used normal SL gear and consumes, really easy otherwise, you can make plenty of mistakes here. Agatha (Fire mage, ele shaman easiest, did also with fury warrior) - still easier with ranged since you can ignore puddles. Still, it was way harder than I expected. Keep in mind, that I completed all these during Legion for 8/12 classes, and that I pretty much knew the mechanics from then. Comment by PihalecsmrtiAfter 2 weeks of quite some dedication, I actually did it! I'll post a 'tierlist' as in what to expect from each challenge, which class I completed it with, things I used, and some pointers! Hope you will find them helpful! I actually got to admit, that the effort was really paid of for me, I fell in love with this mount, and it brought back quite some nostalgia although I raged alot for the past 2 weeks. Spr drawdown chart6/30/2023 Most recently, the SPR has been tapped during the COVID-19 pandemic and in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, according to the CFR: The main goal of the SPR is to “alleviate significant oil supply disruptions or price inflation” primarily domestically but also internationally. The SPR is under command of the President (and Congress), who can initiate sale of this oil in cases where this is deemed fit (such as domestic shortages, natural disasters, and wars). Invoices would be issued shortly after deliveries are accepted and receipts for payment would be due no later than 30 days after invoicing. The United States of America started in the 1970s to main an emergency stockpile of oil called the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). Contracts will be awarded through a competitive sales process in mid-March for crude oil deliveries in April. The Department announced the sale today by issuing a Notice of Sale to those companies who have registered on the SPR Sales Notification List. The Department has been discussing this internally for many months, and the Notice of Sale is being issued today so refineries interested in purchasing crude oil from the SPR can plan accordingly for when their facilities come out of their annual maintenance cycle at Gulf Coast refineries when crude oil stocks are being replenished in preparation for switchover to summer grade gasoline. The release of up to 5 million additional barrels of sour crude into the marketplace through the proposed test sale is expected to have minimal market impact. The price index for price comparison purposes is domestic sour crude sold in the same market center as the sale (Southern Green Canyon crude oil). During the sale, crude oil may not be sold at a price less than 95% of market prices for comparable crude being sold in the same area.Of this, 4 million barrels of sour crude would be offered from the SPR West Hackberry site and 1 million barrels of sour crude would be offered from the SPR Big Hill site. 5 million barrels of SPR crude oil will be offered for sale.A test sale will help evaluate how recent infrastructure and transportation changes may impact the ability to distribute SPR crude oil within this distribution system. The sale will help the Department assess the SPR TEXOMA distribution system, which includes the SPR sites at Big Hill, Texas and West Hackberry, Louisiana.Notice of Test Sale can be found here:.In order to appropriately assess the system’s capabilities in the event of a disruption, today the Department of Energy authorized a test drawdown and sale of up to 5 million barrels of sour crude oil.” – DOE spokesman, Bill Gibbons Due to the recent dramatic increase in domestic crude oil production, significant changes in the system have occurred - including pipeline expansion, construction of new infrastructure, reversed flow of existing pipelines and increased use of domestic crude oil terminals. “By law, the Department of Energy is required to conduct continual evaluation of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve system’s drawdown and sales procedures. Account icon An icon in the shape of a person's head and shoulders. Somewhere west side story rita moreno6/30/2023 12 SF Film screening of the new 'West Side Story' film. But it is a fantastic, thrilling movie and as joyous as you've heard it is." It's easy to say this because now all the critiques are out. "That I have reached this kind of apex, and we have for you the most incredible movie you will have seen in many, many years. "This is probably the most thrilling time of my life," Moreno said. "I saw that rain and I thought 'Oh, shit,' and you came." "Oh my God, you actually showed up," Moreno said as she addressed the crowd prior to the screening. In addition, Moreno serves as one of the film's executive producers. The actress is also in the 2021 film, playing the newly created character of Valentina, the owner of the local candy store. The audience was clearly delighted by the screen icon's presence, singing a joyous "Happy Birthday" to Moreno. It was a special weekend for Bay Area resident Moreno, who celebrated her 90th birthday the day before the screening. The event's biggest draw was not the film itself, but the presence of legendary actress Rita Moreno, who 60 years ago won an Oscar for her portrayal of Anita in the first film version of the musical. An appreciative audience applauded at the end of each number. The afternoon began with famed Castro organist David Hegarty playing songs from the film's iconic score. The crowd was in an upbeat mood, with many saying that they were excited about seeing the film, which stars Ansel Elgort and Rachel Zegler as the star-crossed, ill-fated lovers Tony and Maria. A packed, masked and vaccinated audience braved the rain and filled the Castro Theater on Sunday December 12 for a free screening of Steven Spielberg's reimagining of the classic musical West Side Story. Rapid covid testing bakersfield6/30/2023 Kern County, where Mesa Verde is located, has one of the highest rates of COVID-19 in the state, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.Ĭhhabria also ordered rapid, point-of-care testing - instead of tests that must be sent to a lab - for dozens of detainees who had not yet been confirmed with the coronavirus as of late last week, to try to contain the outbreak.Ĭourt documents show the ICE office in Bakersfield received enough rapid test kits for all detainees at Mesa Verde as of Aug. An additional 29, who sought testing on their own, have also been diagnosed with the coronavirus since mid-June, including some who already recovered and were cleared to work, said GEO attorney Susan Coleman, during a hearing Tuesday morning with Chhabria. Since then, two staffers with GEO were confirmed with COVID-19. The judge cited the high risk of virus transmission between the detention center and the surrounding community. Last week, as COVID-19 cases grew, Chhabria expanded his directive to include regular testing for about 130 staffers, such as guards and health care providers, who come in and out of the facility. “It’s not only the social distancing that is now facilitated, but the fact that their status is being monitored … that’s just not happening elsewhere.” “The testing in Mesa Verde through this court’s intervention is a key difference between Mesa Verde and other detention centers in the country,” said Bree Bernwanger, with the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, who represents detainees in the case. ICE field office director David Jennings, who oversees the facility, said at the time they had no place to segregate detainees who refused testing or were confirmed positive. Chhabria intervened after ICE emails in May - unearthed during litigation - showed immigration officials opposed widespread testing for the coronavirus at Mesa Verde. Female vampire combat6/30/2023
A tribe called quest keep it moving6/30/2023 The Ummah had made beats from Busta Rhymes’ The Coming and Da Bush Babees’ Gravity earlier in 1996, but Beats was the first project that the team produced nearly in its entirety. After listening to a Slum Village demo that Jay Dee gave to him, Q-Tip was enraptured with his production skills, and decided to bring him into the fold. Fiddler, who had been playing with Funkadelic, had talked up Dilla to Q-Tip throughout the festival tour, and finally introduced the two during the Detroit stop. Q-Tip met Jay Dee through keyboardist Amp Fiddler while performing with Lollapalooza in 1994. For Beats, they utilized the production team The Ummah, made up of Q-Tip, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and soon-to-be legendary beatmaker James “Jay Dee” Yancey a.k.a. Previously, Kamaal “Q-Tip” Fareed had handled most of the beats for the group. While I very much enjoy the result, it’s impossible to deny that it’s missing…something.Ī part of what made Beats, Rhymes and Life different from other Tribe albums was its production. However, while its individual components can be quite entertaining, it’s not quite as cohesive. The project sounds different than anything the group had released before and has its own distinctive sonic and lyrical sensibilities. To their credit, Tribe didn’t try to make a carbon copy of either The Low End Theory (1991) or Midnight Marauders (1993) with Beats, Rhymes and Life. With the Native Tongues “officially reinstated,” it stood to reason that A Tribe Called Quest would be able to craft a similarly powerful album. Just weeks before, the group’s Native Tongue cohorts De La Soul had made their triumphant return with Stakes Is High, one of the best albums of the year and a declarative statement against commercialism in hip-hop. But I’ve never considered it a stain on their legacy or that it served as a harbinger of dire times ahead for the crew.īeats, Rhymes and Life dropped during what was a significant summer for hip-hop music. I also agree that it’s a step behind their first three projects. I agree that it’s not Tribe’s best album. Personally, I don’t have as many issues with Beats, Rhymes and Life. Many believe that when the album was released 25 years ago, it was a clear signal that one of the greatest groups ever was starting to falter. After a transcendent three-album run that helped shape and redefine hip-hop’s sound, the Queens-based crew presumably lost their way on their fourth album. The generally accepted story is that things started to fall apart for A Tribe Called Quest with Beats, Rhymes and Life. Whether you're a Tribe fan from way back, or a new jack just discovering their charms, this is an excellent collection, loaded with amazing music.Happy 25th Anniversary to A Tribe Called Quest’s fourth studio album Beats, Rhymes and Life, originally released July 30, 1996. Released in '99, The Anthology compiles 19 tracks, basically all of their hit singles, a handful of lesser known fan favorites, and Q-Tip's first and only solo smash "Vivrant Thing." Produced by Ali Shaheed Mohammed as well as the Ummah (Ali, Tip, and a young J Dilla), all of the selections here are great, from the early hits like "Bonita Applebaum" and "Luck of Lucien," through Low End Theory standards "Electric Relaxation" and "Jazz (We've Got)" featuring iconic bassist Ron Carter, to their final big single "Find a Way" off their much-maligned swan song The Love Movement. Part of the hyper-talented Native Tongues family (with De La Soul, Jungle Brothers, Black Sheep, et al), they released five albums between 19, before going their separate ways to pursue solo careers. One of the most beloved and influential acts in the history of hip-hop, Queens group A Tribe Called Quest changed the game with their witty but intelligent lyricism and jazz-enriched production.
